I’m a Chartered IT Professional with over 20 years in the industry, working at the messy seam where business problems meet the systems meant to solve them. My patch spans strategy, architecture, delivery and governance, and getting people to actually adopt the thing once it ships, which is usually the hard part.

Day to day I lead digital & technology at CAN Group, with overall accountability for IT across the business and a cross-functional team of support professionals and developers. Away from the day job I do a bit of voluntary community work: the kind of unglamorous local graft that quietly keeps a place ticking over. I also volunteer as an assessor for BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.
